About DDC
Hello and welcome. I am an architect, complexity scientist, systems engineer, and solutions strategist focused on transforming civil systems—economic, social, political, infrastructural, and environmental—from chaotic and inefficient states into optimized, resilient, and profitable structures that improve everyday life.

Much of society runs on systems that professionals design and maintain without fully understanding their origins or long-term consequences. As a result, well-intended improvements often create new inefficiencies, blind spots, or unintended outcomes.

My work is dedicated to changing that.

As a complexity scientist, I study how civil systems evolve, adapt, and scale—both positively and negatively. Using model-based systems engineering, graph theory, and rigorous scientific analysis, I identify patterns, hidden dynamics, and structural weaknesses that shape performance. I apply this knowledge to enhance urban networks, organizational processes, and social systems with solutions that are practical, efficient, and sustainable.

I break down complexity into simple, smaller parts, so others see solutions more clearly. Then, together we design the steps that lead to order, efficiency, and measurable gains for all stakeholders.

This is the D’Millio Difference:
No one has to get screwed, and you don’t invest seed money—
I do, but you back me up.

My mission is to combine scientific research, engineering techniques, and policy planning expertise to help organizations, communities, and institutions develop systems that are optimized, flexible, and prepared for the future. Whether improving urban network infrastructure, strengthening governance through policy, or redesigning organizational workflows, I focus on strategies that bring clarity, resilience, and long-term value.

Innovation
My approach is characterized by a lifelong commitment to innovation and unconventional solutions. I place the highest emphasis on science, logic and philosophy and open dialogue
Collaboration
Collaboration and execution of a plan go together. Stakeholders from a diverse cross-section of society help me find the answers I seek. Collaboration, Diversity, and Inclusion are the heart of my work and research.
Sustainability
Sustainability is central to my values and practices. I focus on my sustainable design and planning methods to create a lasting impact on society by delivering solutions that provide value for both current and future generations.
Ethical Practices
My practice and approach require me to make all decisions in groups of three (3) or more so I can be outvoted. This is the D'Millio Confidence and Promise. I am never afraid of being proven wrong or having others tell me.
Ever Learning
As my practice is continuously evolving, I am continuously dedicated to learning and staying at the forefront of advancements in science, engineering, governance, and policy development.
